We’re glad to have achieved a design that reflects its fast-casual concept of Japanese cuisine, and that consumers love to photograph.
Sushi Mas is a shining example of how innovative design can elevate the dining experience and positively impact brand perception. Its excellent culinary offering and stylish and relaxed interior create the perfect setting for diners to enjoy their dishes in a stimulating environment. Sushi Mas’s design sparks interaction and motivates people to share their visit on social media.
We were in charge of the design and execution of the first Sushi Mas restaurant in Aventura Park Square, a mixed-use real estate development that includes retail and luxury residences.
Aventura is conveniently located near Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, and other central neighborhoods like Brickell. It is also within close proximity to the two major airports in the city, namely Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport, both reachable within 20 to 30 minutes. Moreover, Aventura offers a wide selection of premier golf courses and scenic canals, making it a desirable destination for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those passionate about water sports.
The Power of Design
According to a recent report from Ibis World (Sushi Restaurants Industry in the US – Market Research Report) a global market research company, the United States currently boasts 19,742 sushi restaurants, marking a 4% increase since 2022. The sector is expected to continue experiencing sustained growth, with sushi being more popular and accessible than ever before.

1- Sushi Mas ceiling is the most eye-catching feature. It is a curved wooden design with built-in LED lighting.
2- The circular wooden slats create a warm and natural aesthetic. The elevated planters add a vertical dimension to the space, and the plants bring vitality and freshness. Moreover, the green color integrates perfectly with the brand’s color palette and, as a bonus, is associated with stress reduction and relaxation.
3- In the five arches of the walls, we installed a melamine design with hidden LED lights. The leather-upholstered seats, flush against the wall, allow for space optimization and provide greater seating capacity.
4- The beautiful colors of Sushi Mas convey a sense of warmth and good energy.
5- On the facade, the curved slats add a distinctive touch and certainly attract a lot of attention. The outdoor furniture is made of white resin, a material with many advantages for a commercial establishment, as it is durable, lightweight, versatile and easy to maintain.
Sushi Mas holds tremendous potential for expansion. Our studio’s design is specifically crafted to be replicated in multiple locations. The positive feedback and enthusiastic response from clients at the Aventura location further solidified our confidence in the concept’s scalability.
